nudicrous

Guess what, I coined another term yesterday! Nudicrous, meaning naked and extremely silly or absurd.

octopied

I coined a new term recently: 'octopied,' meaning extremely busy, such as when doing eight things at once.

more about colitas

In addition to Jodi's comments about Hotel California, I first looked at
some other pages.

First I was searching for "coletus", but lookee here...

Thomas Paine

So I'm at the Crayola.com site to get coloring pages related to American
history and Independence Day, and wind up coloring a sheet featuring
Thomas Paine and "Free Thinkers Day"... Which intrigues me because I've
heard the name but can't remember squat about the guy.

Well, step 1 is to find out what day is this "Free Thinkers Day" thing,
which is probably bogus anyway, but one blog,
http://www.sunnimaravillosa.com/archives/00000164.html, wishes Thomas
Paine a happy birthday in a January 29 entry.

I also came across a couple pages that present his work "The Age of
Reason", part 1 being at
http://www.infidels.org/library/historical/thomas_paine/age_of_reason/part1.html

And the place I found the above link is an interesting essay on freedom
vs. Christianity at http://www.stephenjaygould.org/ctrl/buckner_ncn.html.

Now I just have to finish reading it all.

Oh yeah, and study, and do laundry. Oh, and clean the bathroom. Man,
it's hard to be an educated citizen when you have to do all your own
housework. If only I had some domestic assistants, I could read and
bullshit all day.
