Better than gmail!

It's GGG-Gmail! Posted by Hello

They have a funny page, but it basically seems to be a spam portal. If you enjoy things like that, visit the URL shown in the capture. I sent a sample to myself and the message is nothing but a redirect to a spamified version of the page with lots of "newsletters" and such opted-in for you by default. So if you then click anything else, you just signed up for a bunch of spam.

Too bad, because it's a funny page. I think the best thing to do here is look at the capture and enjoy it on its own merits, unfettered by spam sign-up. But that's just me.

Who is that at Amy's House?

I went to see my friend Amy's cats. It was kind of creepy. See why.

Did I mention

...I'm trying to get free stuff?

I don't think my odds are very good... I need 10 people to sign up and
complete an offer at freedigitalcameras and 5 people to sign up and complete an offer at freeipods.

If you're going to do this, please do it at one of these links because I
deserve to get free stuff in the process of helping you get free stuff.
Right?

more free stuff... maybe

Yeah so in the interests of completeness I naturally had to try this one too: freedigitalcameras.com

a couple of interesting things on the forums at hardwaregeeks.com

The forum itself is kind of interesting.

The have an entire thread about gmail invites.

In particular, a way for people with spare gmail invites (like me) to hook up with people that want gmail invites (whoever they might be) at isnoop.net

By the way, this is also one place to read stories (success and otherwise) of free ipod offers and such.

in the interests of consumer research

I signed up for one of those free ipod things after reading lots of forum posts where people actually got free stuff.

If you want to sign up for blockbuster DVD service, BMG music service, Columbia house DVD's, or numerous other odd things, please do so with my referrer link so I can get credit and maybe a free ipod. :)

It seems to be kind of tricky, as in, it's hard to tell if the site registers your fulfillment of an offer. If you pursue any offers, afterwards look for the "complete offer" button.

I'll let you know if it works.

Vonage VoIP Forum - Vonage How To

Vonage VoIP Forum - Vonage How To

It would be WAY COOL to use Bitsy as a phone. We are using Vonage at home already for VOIP--it's been our main phone service for several months now. I still have a Virgin Mobile cell phone that I also use on occasion. But all our home phones use the Vonage service over our broadband connection. That's right, no more SBC for me!

Anyway, I just have to figure out if the extra money for the "softphone" is worth it. It would be used on Bitsy via Wifi, and most places I use Wifi I could also just use my cell phone and/or there are phones there anyway. Actually, the place I use Wifi the most is at home--where I have Vonage phones already in 3 rooms. I'm just generally not a heavy phone user. But I would like to try it because maybe I am missing out on some useful stuff that I would like if I had it to experiment with.

CocoonTech.com -> Orb is now free for everyone

CocoonTech.com -> Orb is now free for everyone

According to this post at www.cocoontech.com, orb.com is now free (whatever that is... I've never heard of it before now), and with orb you can stream windows media to any device, including pocket PC's!

Well guess who just happens to have a pocket PC... That's right! I do.

So I guess I'll be checking this out, maybe.
