Blogger Still Incredibly Slow, But Crucial to New Years Resolution

Blogger is still annoyingly slow for publishing posts, and it's
especially annoying when editing and reposting an entry. Simple little
modification, 30 second wait or more each time you re-publish. I know
blogger is an amazing tool, and it's free, and I am grateful for that.
I just wish there was a QuickBlogger or something that made the process
quicker or simpler or something.

I like the post via email, but I have yet to figure out the best
combination of settings on the various machines and email programs I use
to create the least goofed-up looking entry in Blogger. I can't seem to
get the line breaks in the right place, and haven't used any method
consistently enough to determine the most successful pattern.

Still, I suppose I half-ass have a resolution to Blog More in 2004.
Ugh, dammit, wrong year. Maybe Blog My Life in 2005? More like
Blog'n'Jive 2005. Heh.

Anyway, I have semi-resolved to well, blog more. It is rather
unfortunate about about that 2004 thing not working anymore. It
shouldn't be that difficult to blog more than 2004 (eureka!!), since for
the whole month of December 04 I had about 6 posts (maybe even less; I
don't have the window open to check).

And now, without further adoo, may I present Blog More Than 2004.

One thought behind this is to consistently set aside time to evaluate my
daily progress on various things like my studying progress for the PE
Exam. That's right folks, I got my official loser letter today from the
esteemed Texas Board of Professional Engineers in Austin.

I thought about making categories for the things I am trying to improve
on or achieve consistency on, like blogging, laundry, studying,
exercise, organizing things, unpacking the remaining pile of boxes,
other household tasks, reading books, catching up on correspondence,
checking the smoke detector battery, what-have-you.

But then I realized blogger doesn't have support for categories so I'm
not sure if I want to incorporate some of these things into the post
template or what. It would be a lot to put in one template and I would
end up deleting most of it for the vast majority of my posts.

Another thing that occurred to me is that basically no one cares about
any of that stuff, but let's be frank here, odds are no one cares about
anything I'm putting on this blog anyway and most people that read it
landed here by the "next blog" button on the blogger toolbar.

To you, them, others, and anyone else, too, I say, so what. Impervious
to criticism and yes, even apathy, I shall exemplify steely resolve and
consistent blogitude as I Blog More Than 2004.
